About the Doctor

Minsoo Kim MD is a board certified pediatric and adult allergist & immunologist. She has been voted one of New York's Top Doctors for 2018 and Super Doctors Rising Stars since 2019 published in the New York Times.  She was a clinical professor of Allergy & Immunology at Columbia Medical Center for five years before establishing her private practice in 2017. Even as a private practitioner, Dr. Kim continues to be involved with teaching fellows from Columbia's allergy & immunology training program. She has also presented numerous abstracts of her research at national allergy & immunology conferences and is part of the executive board of a local allergy and asthma medical society. 

She attended college at SUNY Binghamton University where she received her magna cum laude in Biology & Economics and medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.  She did her residency at NYU Medical Center and her Allergy & Immunology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.   She is nationally certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.  She also has an interest in complementary alternative medicine and is certified in acupuncture.  Being raised in New York, she feels a personal desire to play a vital role in the local community.
